Easter Sunday 2015

I'm not sure how much longer the girls will want to
hunt for their eggs on Easter Sunday,
but for this year they did,  and so the Easter bunny
was up early hiding those eggs just one more time...

The girls have discovered Page 45
Nottingham's independent comic and graphic novel shop,

Our costumes for Word Book Day 2015...

Molly was Gangsta Granny

(complete with dislocated arm in a granny sling!)

...and Maisy was Minnie Mouse...

(tentative 'book' connection, I know!)

Beatriz Aurora Inspired Paintings

the girls had a go at their very own painting
in the style of  Beatriz Aurora...

Rights of Nature at Nottingham Contemporary

We went to see the Rights of Nature Exhibition at the Nottingham Contemporary.
We loved Beatriz Aurora's paintings, and
Fernando Palma Rodríguez’s animatronic horse and butterflies.

Downstairs in 'The Space' there were loads of activities for children, based on the exhibition...

And afterwards, a quick pit stop at The White Rabbit Tea House
for some tea and cake (and vintage tea spoons.)
